Where Faeries Come From: A Voyage into Pucks Glen

They call it Puck's Glen - a place so magical that simply entering it makes you forget where you come from and who you are. It's the closest thing you'll get in real life to Peter Pan's Never Never Land and the only place in West Scotland you can truly feel like you have been transported to the rainforest.

The stairs that lead up and down its winding paths take you deeper into the glen, each step leading further into your own personal fairytale. Nothing prepares you for the wonder and intrigue each twist in the path leads to. As you pass through the narrow voids and over the rushing rapids you can't help but let your mind wander. Is this where Scotland's faerie tales begin? Is this where the stories are born from?

It's certainly a unique experience to take some time to stroll through the lush green vegetation - best visited after or during heavy rainfall. If you get tired of the city and the toils of town life then there really isn't a better place to spend your afternoon.
